DAY 1: A NEW ERA HAS BEGUN
The first day of the Prague Floorball Cup 2025 brought not only exciting matches, but also the first serious use of the new visual identity of the tournament. After more than seven years, the organizers decided to change the logo, thus launching a new era of the PFC. In collaboration with renowned Czech graphic designer Šimon Matějka, a modern and comprehensive visual was created that reflects the essence of the tournament. The podium-shaped logo and special typography represent the vision that the PFC wants to present in the years to come.
Martin Forman, founder and one of the tournament directors, commented on the process of creating the new branding, "It was not an easy journey, we were in contact with Simon for more than 3 months and countless scenarios and versions of how the logo could look like were created. In the end we came up with something that the whole team is very happy with. We wanted to push the logo and I think we have succeeded. Linking the logo and its use in each year will help establish PFC as a unique brand in the sporting environment in our country."
The first day of the tournament was marked by intense floorball action. Dozens of matches were played in six different halls, which brought not only dramatic moments, but also great performances across all categories. Teams from six countries delivered exceptional performances that showed the high level of preparation and commitment of all involved. The spectators could enjoy both close fights and goal throws, which underlined the prestige and quality of the Prague Floorball Cup.
The second day of the tournament promises an even more intense programme. The PFC MINI, designed for the youngest floorball players, starts and will take place over two playing days - Saturday and Sunday. The tournament will be held at the SCUK Hostivař venue to make logistics as easy as possible for the teams. After the basic groups, the teams will be divided into performance groups where they will compete with equal opponents for the overall position.
In addition to the PFC MINI, there are also a large number of other matches across all categories on the second day's schedule. The tournament has welcomed teams from six countries, promising an international atmosphere and a high level of competition.
Streams from selected CAM, JED, VIN and SHJ halls will be supplemented tomorrow morning with FREE streams from MINI hall in Hostivař (HOS)!
The second day of PFC Winter 2025 is now underway and promises an unforgettable sporting experience for all participants and spectators.
