B2010 and B2014 | B2011 and B2015
Titans: For stronger teams (based on league and tournament results).
Gladiators: For teams that appreciate more balanced matches and a better chance of success.
Both categories will have their winners and medal placements. The level of teams in the PFC MINI category is generally high, so we believe both categories will offer a great experience and give every team the opportunity to fight for something. Priority is obviously given to splitting by the chosen category, but the performance level will help us to ensure the matches are evenly matched.
Please take this grouping into account when entering your teams.
* Exception for teams from countries outside TOP6 IFF
In PFC tournaments, the main organizer reserves the right to allow up to three player exceptions that are no more than one year older than the category in question, as long as that team is from IFF Ranking 7 and below.more here)
TOP6 IFF countries cannot apply for this exemption
** Exception - "player who plays with us all season"
If the rules in your league (meaning league competition) allow 1-year exemptions on your team, you can email your team to request this exemption. The organizing team reserves the right to allow said exceptions in any category.
Tournament
Teams will be divided into groups of 4-5 teams (in case of low number of teams in a category, there may be only one group of more than 5 teams). In the group part, teams will compete against each other.
All teams will qualify for the playoffs (playoff A or playoff B). Advancement position is based on group results.
All playoff games are played in a one-win elimination format. The third place match is not played, bronze medalists will be decorated immediately after the semi-finals.
Match schedule
The match schedule will be published on the PFC website. The organizer reserves the right to change the match schedule. In this case, all team leaders of the teams affected by the change will be informed in due time.
Judges
Each match is officiated by a referee with a valid Czech Floorball license. In case of foreign referees with a license of the respective national floorball association.
Playing time
In the PFCmini categories (B16, B15, B14, G14, G12) it is 3 plus 1 on a small field, 2x8 minutes of rough time, there is a straight shootout instead of a 2 minute penalty and there is no playoff in PFCmini. The playing system will be adapted to the number of teams entered.
In the other categories, all matches including play-offs and finals are played in 2x15 minutes.
Playing time is rough, only the last minute of the game is being timed. Otherwise, time is stopped only in the following situations: after a goal, on a sending off, on a solo raid, at the request of the referees.
Mercy rule - if the goal difference is greater than 7, time is stopped only on the referee's instruction.
Differences between PFCmini and PFC 5+1:
Only in the 5+1 playoff tournament each team has the option to use a time-out (30 seconds). Teams in the PFCmini do not have the option to use the time-out.
Group part
The ranking in the group is determined by the sum of the points scored. A team receives 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss. In the event that two or more teams finish with the same number of points at the end of the group stage, the ranking will be decided according to the following key:
1. Number of points from mutual matches
2. Score difference from mutual matches
3. Number of goals scored in mutual matches
4. Total score difference from all matches
5. Total number of goals scored in all matches
6. Los
5+1 play-offs - not for PFC MINI
In the event of a tie in the knockout part of the tournament, a 5-minute extra time period will follow after regulation time (only the last minute is scored). The first team to score a goal in extra time wins the match. If no goal is scored, a shootout will follow.
Three players from each team will be selected in the shootout. The numbers of the three players from each team and the order in which they will perform the shootout will be announced by the referees (ideally handed out on paper). The starting team will be decided by lot. In the event of a tie, after three shoot-outs have been completed on each side, extra individual shoot-outs will follow in a "sudden death" style (a series of one shoot-out on each side until a decision is made). In the sudden death shootout, the field players can play without restriction.
Players and rosters
There is no limit to the number of players on a team's roster, but a maximum of 20 players can start a given match.
Each player is allowed to represent only one team in a given category. A maximum of 4 girls may play for the boys category.
If a team leader withdraws his/her team after the close of registrations, he/she waives the possibility of a refund of the entry fee. If the team had arranged accommodation in cooperation with the PFC, it loses the right to a full refund of the accommodation.
Rosters close 10 days prior to the start of the tournament on 5/6/2025 11:59:59 PM for team leaders. After that, players can only be added to the roster through the PFC organizers prior to the start of that team's game. This will only be possible during group matches, rosters will be finally closed before the playoffs.
Selection teams are not allowed to participate in the tournament. PFC reserves the rule that only club teams may participate in the tournament. This rule applies within the PFC and PFCmini.
Red card
If the referee awards a red card (PC) in the tournament, the following consequence will follow depending on the level of the card:
Technical Penalty (TT) - Higher penalty (2 + 2 min.) + until the end of the match, no further consequences
Penalty until the end of the match (TDKU) - Higher penalty (2 + 2 min.) + until the end of the match, the penalty is decided by the tournament JURY
At the end of the match, the referee and the relevant organisers will immediately inform the JURY and the JURY will issue a decision on the penalty.
Team Leader
The person appointed as team manager is responsible for the entire team for the duration of the tournament, both on and off the field during the match. The Team Manager is the person who is contacted by the organisers in the event of any changes, problems or other circumstances. The team leader must be over 18 years of age.
Identity check
The organisers reserve the right to request an identity check and age verification at any time during the tournament. The team leader is responsible for ensuring that all players carry identification (ID or other photo ID). Only valid for players 15 years and older.
Protests
The team leader has the right to protest a gross violation of the rules or regulations of the tournament. In the event of a protest against the result of a match or a referee's decision, the referee and the organisers present must be notified immediately after the end of the match. The protest in writing must be forwarded without undue delay (within 45 minutes of the end of the contested match) to a member of the PFC Jury (see below). In the event that no member of the Jury is present, the protest may be forwarded to any member of the PFC organising team, however, a member of the Jury (contacts below) must be notified at the same time. All arguments and a detailed description of the situation and the problem must be given. The protest fee is 1500 CZK, which is refunded if the protest is upheld. If the protest is rejected, the fee is forfeited. The decision of the Jury is final and cannot be appealed.
